A little about me...

In all the facets of my life as an author, podcast host, fitness warrior, & traveler, my common denominator has always been writing effectively. My greatest question has always been, "How can I communicate more effectively?" 

Translating thoughts into words into tangible results is my specialty. I combine wide experience from five major industries. Wellness, Technology, E-Cubed (Education, Entertainment, Empowerment), Communication, and Consulting.

I've been writing all my life, so my words flow effectively. What this means to you is laser precision in every detail. More importantly, I harness my knowledge of personal development, sales & persuasion, health & wellness, marketing, and creative direct response copywriting to help today's online entrepreneurs optimize leads and revenue.

For the select clients I work with, they all confirm I operate on sales channels like a wise specialist.

I cut through the clutter and analyze my clients needs in order to offer custom designed solutions that help you deliver more strategic messages that turn into evergreen sales machines.

I’m very selective and work with entrepreneurs who have a vision and mission as well as values I connect with. I only write copy that resonates with prosperity and the greater good.

Of course, I’m not allergic to currency.

Sure, paying the rates I’m worth brightens my day and makes me smile. 😁

Who doesn’t like to feel respected, and grateful?

However, what I mean is that my identity already IS Happiness and Joy. It’s who I am. It’s not based on gaining or losing cash.

I intend to continue working with people who are free to live in high vibrational emotional states as well.

For this reason, I carefully select the clients I choose to work with.

My time on this planet and peace of mind amidst the chaos are finite resources that I refuse to squander on pettiness or nickels and dimes.

I encourage my clients to hold the same high standards in their marketing and client acquisition.

I get it. You’re wondering about my name. My father is from The Republic Of Benin In West Africa. It's the small country to the left of Nigeria.

He came to the United States to get a college degree in the 70’s and ended up with a PhD. in English...And me. He met my mother on the campus of Indiana University. I was born in Huntsville, AL, (The Space And Rocket City) because my father taught at Alabama A&M University.

He donned me the name “Adebayo Alabi Olorunto” which means “Royal One In Joy - God Is Sufficient.”

Africans, we do like to live up to our names, so you can do the math on that.

I Am Dependable & Reliable.


Yeah, I spent many Christmas and New Years visiting my mother's side of the family in the freezing cold Indiana snow.

My mother is of European descent, from the plains of central Indiana (Evansville and Ft. Wayne to be specific) so yes, in all likelihood I’ve got some English, German, and Scottish blood in me.

The rebel blood of course. Most likely from immigrants who were not of royal bloodlines.... and fought brutally to survive in the frontiers of America.

What is a Hoosier? Brave, tough, honest, and friendly. Bobby Knight choking players and throwing chairs added an extra stigma with his years at Indiana Univ. I beat up my high school bully. That’s why there was only one. He was the first and last.

I’m a victor, not a victim, nor am I a bully ...but I do like to win...a lot. So if you enjoy success and winning... Great!

My mother, having a Master’s in Graphics and Design from Indiana University, raised me with an artists eye.

Looking back, all of these elements on my mother’s side combine with the 80’s and 90’s commercials and junk mail led me to being the master marketer and copywriter I am today. Once the internet kicked in the 2000 era became my laboratory for words and images.

Sometimes it’s only after looking back that you connect the dots.

I Am A Health & Fitness Warrior.


I grew up as a second generation immigrant in the U.S.A. The soccer ball was my first friend at my feet at the age of two years old. My favorite movie at 7 years old was “Hot Shot” starring Jim Youngs and Pele playing on the beaches of Brazil.

My early sports heroes were Pele and Maradona. I’m 5’5”, so for me basketball just wasn’t my thing. I did play football one year and only a couple years of baseball. But in soccer I was recruited by a small division II college and chose not to pursue it. I wanted to explore bigger cities.

I almost dropped a tear (just kidding I laughed) watching The Last Dance when they claim Michael Jordan told Mugsy Bogues... “Shoot it, you f*#n midget!”

I always had respect for the underdogs. God bless Spud Webb and Mugsy Bogues for never giving up for the underdogs. It’s not that Jordan really even said that (which is up for debate - I wouldn't put it past him), or because it was disrespectful in and of itself.

At the heart of that myth are the ever existing expectations  perpetuated by the American gladiator culture of Football, Basketball, & Wrestling.

Even in business, the unspoken rule is that big or tall is superior (McDonald's supersize). Small is inferior. However, nowadays business is run by small giants, lean teams, and one man or woman armies.

Perhaps that’s one of the key triggers that drove me more and more into helping high value coaches and consultants... a field where I make my own rules and I can also help to bring in a more human element for people making a massive impact.

I Am Creative.


I actually find it hilarious when I read some of these "wannabe" copywriting websites.

They try to use words like “fresh,” “dope” and “fly” “G’d up” and “fashizzle” to prove they are “down” with street slang and have a sizzling hot trendy personality.

They have every right to do so. I applaud them for their craftiness. Perhaps it’s the professional double standard I live under that ‘irks me.

As a man of African descent doing business as a professional copywriter in fitness, personal development, and consulting circles, if I came out on my website home page talking in the same slang terms as those trendy sites use, you’d be afraid to hire me.

So how is it that a suburban guy or gal can use the language from my own culture in a professional setting but I can’t? Tisk tisk. Ha ha.

If I really used the slang I've used in the streets in NY, DC, or Miami, you wouldn’t trust me or hire me. But when the posers do it, many think it’s “hip,” “feisty” “spunky,” and “creative.”

Things that make you go hmmmm.... Elite level emotionally driven direct response copywriting is still in need of fresh voices.

Eugene Schwartz. Claud Hopkins. Ogilvy. Halbert. Sugarman. John Carlton. Ben Settle. Jay Abraham. These legends have been reigning for years.

It's time for innovation in the personal development and consulting space. I’m certainly not the only new voice of direct response copywriting or personal develoment. I just know I bring uniqueness to the table.

I actually wrote a book to save one of my cousins from gang life in Chicago and warning youth about the traps in the music industry.

That book was called “The Hiphop Driven Life: A Genius Liberation Handbook. I’ve met HipHop pioneers, celebrities, multi-millionaire moguls, rapped in cyphers, recorded albums, performed at my own events ... and even written hundreds of songs for terminally ill children for the Songs Of Love Foundation.

In 2009, I even won an “I Am King” award for Sean John my community involvement. I’m retired from the rap game. But don’t get it twisted, I’m forever an emcee.

If you want to connect and generate market share with urban culture or a Gen-X, Y, or Millenial audience raised on Hip Hop, I can help you do it ... but I will only do it if what you are selling is authentic...it makes sense, and it’s not wack! I Am A Student
Of Life.

Seeing as though both my parents have graduate level degrees from Indiana University, it “seems” like I “should” be well-educated right? LoL.

Especially if you are going to pay me thousands in fed reserve notes (or cryptocurrency if you want) to write words for you that make you millions! Haha.... so let’s tackle this pink elephant in the room.

Well ... I am obviously not an idiot or I wouldn’t have a website like this. Believe it or not, I actually have above average intelligence. I did go to Vanderbilt University, an almost Ivy-League top 20 University (1998-2001), and I attended for 3 years. Vanderbilt ain’t nothing to sneeze at.

Vandy is considered “The Harvard Of The South.” I entered studying molecular biology. What a nightmare that was. I spent Saturdays in biology labs. Pure torture.

Obviously, that was pre-soul searching. I ended up many days there writing poetry in the library to overcome depression. After plenty of low grades, I wasn’t feeling it in my heart of hearts.... so I left. Ok I quit. Though, I'm not a "quitter." 

I quit errant paths, but never quit on my self. I went to Austin Peay State University and was insulted by their archaic Tennessee state administrative bureaucracy and after a year I had enough. They wanted me to take P.E. and Tennessee History. I was out. That was a total of four years college experience... plenty for me. I get the idea.

The next 20 years I became a voracious reader and student of personal development, business, psychology, marketing, Sales, entrepreneurship etc. Now, I am a world class direct response copywriter. Period.

I learned how to research markets, how to evoke emotion, how to use technology, how to track KPIs and metrics, and how sell... anything. Those are a few reasons you may want to hire me to write your copy.

I Am A Master Wordsmith.


Remember that soccer dream I had as a 7 year old. Futebol. Beaches. Capoeira. Samba. Exotic culture. Palm trees.

A few years back I decided to fly from Miami to São Paulo, Brazil to live that dream, travel throughout Brazil. I am writing about Brazilian culture, studying, and learn Brazilian Portuguese, while also learning about business in Brazil.

I’ve been here for a few years now. I even launched my podcast here “Sun Chasin’ Success.”

So now I speak five languages: English. Portuguese. Hip Hop slang. Success...

...and Copywriting (yes Copywriting is a language in and of itself that conveys conversational value and emotion ...salesmanship in print).

I Am The Voice.


All of you who are coaches and consultants who want to make a difference in the world might appreciate this side of my journey. I know your DNA. We are kindred spirits. I’m one with you, and I believe in you. We may have attended similar events!

Well, before colonialism and imperialism, my people were from a tribe in West Africa called the Anago. Kings. Warriors. Natives. Rites of Passage.

Seeing as though many were stripped of their culture and brought to Brasil, the Carribean Islands, and North America, there are many tribal rituals that helped them survive. Many tests of courage and various death defying feats that allowed them to access their Higher Self which was beyond circumstances.

However, in our modern society we have lost many of these traditions.

Luckily, around the age of 19, I came across a little book called “Awaken The Giant Within” by Tony Robbins. That set me on the path of personal development like no other and an opportunity to awaken that same power.

Tony is always big on the rituals of success. Having later attended Unleash the Power within I did firewalk a couple different times and helped others across the burning coals as a UPW crew member. I've seen people paralize with fear and not walk, and others storm across.

Simply put, my call to greatness has never been about avoiding fear. It's been about lifting others up. My personal development journey is one with that of your prospects and clients. I can speak to their needs and wants.

I strive for what I see and want, and I go for it while I manage fear. Launching businesses, running campaigns, investing, selling, marketing, testing copy, all can trigger the fear response. I will always be a voice urging you and your audience, prospects, and clients forward into the unknown toward your destiny... despite fear.

I Am The King Of Copy.


I really am the king of C.O.P.Y.... no really. My true Kingdom Is Heaven... "Constantly Observing People Yearlong" in other words... the higher consciousness that directs our physical world. The little me is my Ego, my accolades, my accomplishments and achievements.

My Higher Self is my Spirit or Soul beyond all that. Of course, you can’t see it. (By the way this is all 'ish Deepk Chopra and a bunch of Yogis taught me) LOL That’s the point! Humans we are all masked in flesh and personality. Who cares who we learn it from? Even Steve Job's favorite book was "Autobiography Of A Yogi." We are all spirits having physical experiences. I wrote my bio this way to show you I can write and connect with anyone from any culture! 

Like many, there is a portion of myself that is happy, joyful, and fulfilled staring at the stars, a serene lake, or ocean. I identify with the Infinite Intelligence inside all of us. Some call it Heaven. Some call it Nirvana. Enlightenment.

I like Phil Jackson kinds of coaches. To each his own. Let your Jordan and Pippen and Rodman do what they do. Let's just all celebrate the present moment and win! I like Zen, martial arts, “energy,” NLP, metaphysics, universal laws, and conscious and subconscious conditioning.

For me, my business as a copywriter is also part of my spiritual mission and purpose here on this planet. You want me on your side, because I summon all the forces of the Universe to help you get your products and services into peoples hands. Regardless of what you believe, there is something eternal out there in space that I download directly from Cosmic source to my brain to my fingertips. How else could a short second generation immigrant mixed kid from Alabama be hanging out, brushing shoulders, and picking the brains of the wealthiest and most influential people in the world?! I wrote and talked my way into all of it! May the force be with us!

...And also inside all of us. Perhaps it’s the same original substance. This mystery is where all the magic is.

I know first hand from talking to the wealthy and celebrities. Even if you make multi-millions, or billions, it's not "it." After you make all the money, all the fame, buy all the houses and cars, and travel the world, you still have to be YOU the soul and consciousness you are. Who you are is what matters and the lives you touched. Who you identify with is who you are.

You can be the little you or the big you. You can be both. I’m just letting you know that when you are doing business with me all of that is in play. Good vibes only. No bad energy in my Kingdom.

If you come around me trying to bring black clouds, negativity, pessimism, corruption, or kill my vibe.... I will toss your ass to the lions.

Some writers try to avoid uncomfortable truths or details in their “about me” section. The truth is, I don't want to work with the person who doesn't care to read my about page. I want to work with clients who are still here after reading my about page and have more questions about my superpower copywriting skills.

Many writers deflect the responsibility to show you who they are by saying cute things like, “Enough about me, Its not about me ... it’s all about you!”

I know all to well, you want to do business with someone, you like, trust, respect, and who aligns with your mission values. So do I. It’s about me AND you. It’s about us creating a winning synergy. There are a lot of dark sides to being any type of writer on a professional level because of performance anxiety. It's easy to just write. However to write consistently for results is what makes a world-class copywriter.

Vulnerabilities. Strange behaviors. Failures. Traumas. Addictions (positive & negative). Obsessions. Compulsions. Bizarre mindsets. Communication styles. It's all fair game for a writer. Who do you think your prospects are? If they were prefect A.I. bots, they wouldn't need you. They are humans who need human messages... from writers who understand their pains, drives, fears, triumphs, tragedies, and motives.

Writers are afraid if they explain in detail who they really are as human beings in their about section, you won’t hire them. They either skim over this section with cute vignettes or paper thin accolades. The bottom line is this: "Will this person do what they say they are going to do? Will they close up shop and disappear? Are they operating by the speed of trust? Are you dealing with a professional or a procrastinator?" 

Hopefully, I've shown you here that I'm not a "fly-by-night' digital nomad, freelancer, or doing this as a "side-hustle."  This is what I've done every day day in and day out for 20 years. I write copy because this is a greater mission. I channel every single life experience I've had into understanding human nature, the global economy, society, markets, psychology, persuasion, and sales.
